Vicksburg Plant Receives IndustryWeek Top 25 Manufacturing Award
IndustryWeek magazine has selected Batesville Casket Company's Vicksburg, Mississippi plant as one of its Top 25 manufacturing plants in North America for 2007. This recognition is awarded to organizations based on their performance in the areas of quality, on-time delivery, safety and productivity, with the ultimate goal of improving competitiveness and taking care of customers. Later this year, IndustryWeek will select the Top 10 winners of their 2007 Best Plant competition from the list of 25 finalists.
IndustryWeek is a publication dedicated to providing insights into the trends, strategies and technologies affecting the business of manufacturing. Being recognized as a Top 25 Best Plant finalist is an outstanding achievement for the Vicksburg plant and is directly related to the contributions and hard work of every associate involved in the operations.
